As a new health care manager, you are exploring interventions that will improve patient safety and the quality of services received in your department. As part of this process, you will need to examine and provide evidence-based support for your initiative that can be provided to your team.

Preparation
Review “Locate Peer-Reviewed / Scholarly Materials” in this week’s University Library Resources to learn how to find articles.

Search the University Library for peer-reviewed articles about the impact of legal and regulatory requirements in health care. Incorporate the following requirements:
Choose research articles that describe a research study, not an editorial or brief.
Prioritize research studies based in the United States from 2013 to the present day.
Select health topics of interest to you or your job that do not include complex statistical analyses.
Select at least 3 peer-reviewed articles to use. The 3 articles should be based on the same topic and must be focused on the legal and regulatory requirements in health care.
