Imagine you are an expert on critical thinking. You have been asked to give a presentation on the concepts of perception and critical thinking. Create a PowerPoint that contains the following:
Eight slides (one title slide, six content slides, and one reference slide)
How all five senses impact perception
The role of perception in critical thinking
Speaker notes that elaborate on the bulleted content on your slides
Three resources (All credible and at least one is from the GCU library).
Refer to the resource, “Creating Effective PowerPoint Presentations,” located in the Student Success Center, for additional guidance on completing this assignment in the appropriate style.
Title slide and reference slide are included in the slide count. Include speaker notes below each content-related slide that represent what would be said if giving the presentation in person. Expand upon the information included in the slide and do not simply restate it. Please ensure the speaker notes include a minimum of 50-100 words per slide.
Assignment #1: Perception PowerPoint –
In a PowerPoint presentation explain perception and critical thinking to high school seniors explaining:
1) How all five senses impact perception
2) The role of perception in critical thinking
Your presentation should have the following:
– 8 slides (1 title slide, 6 content slides and 1 reference slide)
– Put key information in bullet points (this is what you want your audience to see, be creative, but don’t make the slide too crowded)
– Put all details in slide notes FOR ALL 6 CONTENT SLIDES (this is what you would say during the presentation, make sure you use examples that you came up with to illustrate your points to the audience) If you open a PowerPoint presentation and start to enter information on the slide just below the slide will be a small white box that says: Click to add notes, this is the slide notes section.
– Use References: cite them within the text anytime you paraphrase or quote information someone else wrote and add all References to your Reference slide according to APA 7th Edition format. You must also cite any pictures you add.
