Formal and Informal Language in Conversations
In this assignment you will utilize formal and informal language to communicate effectively in two different scenarios.
After carefully reviewing the required resources of this module, develop two dialogues:
In the first dialogue, you will select a situation in which it would be appropriate to use informal language.
Select one of the following situations to develop the first dialogue:
Ordering food in a restaurant or for delivery
Introducing friends at a family event
Going to the movies or on a date
In the second dialogue, you will select a situation in which formal language is most appropriate.
Select one of the following situations to develop the second dialogue:
Making an appointment
Scheduling a meeting
Job interview
Make sure to include and identify at least 5 idiomatic expressions per dialogue. Your selection of idiomatic expressions should match the context of your dialogues. You can find examples of such idiomatic expressions in the required resources of this module. Pay special attention to the videos included in the module and to the following resource to find some good examples:

Once you have selected your two topics, write the dialogues in a PowerPoint presentation. Identify in the written copy, the greeting and the farewell used and label it as formal or informal greeting or farewell. Remember to identify the idiomatic expressions as well.
Each dialogue should have at least 10 interactions among the participants. Only complete sentences will count as interactions.
The sources needs to be 5 years or less. Please 2 slides per dialogue. Read all the instructions carefully.
