In methodology, introduce three or four independent variables, clearly define them, and explain the measurement method for each IV.

For this assignment, complete methodology and literature review sections of your research paper. Suggested length of rough draft is 6-9 pages, double-spaced using size 12 font.
In methodology, introduce three or four independent variables, clearly define them, and explain the measurement method for each IV. An independent variable should be a measurable indicator rather than a concept. For example, “wealth” is a concept whereas “per capita income” is a measurable indicator. For each IV, clearly explain how you are going to measure it- either quantitatively or qualitatively, or both. In addition, posit your hypothesis for each IV. That is, what do you think is going to be the effect of the IV on the dependent variable (which is your research question). One example could be “I hypothesize that with an increase in per capita income of Americans, I would find a corresponding increase in the sale of houses in the United States.” Suggested length of this section is 2-3 pages.
In the literature review section, review at least 5 scholarly works (i.e., academic journal articles or books) on your research topic. For each author/ scholarly work, carefully summarize and each work you review. In addition, provide a critique of each scholarly work that you summarize. Your critique may be based on the author’s bias, methodological shortcomings or inconsistencies, major omissions, or direct refutation of author’s research and arguments. The scholarly works you review must be directly related to your topic or to the general theme of your research. For instance, if your research paper is on a comparison of voter turnout between the United States and Japan, you could do a review of literature on voter turnout (which may or may not relate directly with the U.S. or Japan). Suggested length of this section is 4-6 pages.
Lastly, include a works cited section and cite all sources using APSA format.
