The purpose of this assignment is to provide students the opportunity to apply knowledge gained around organizational learning to conduct a diagnosis of a real-life organization that’s striving to be innovative.

Select an organization which has displayed evidence of innovation and then analyze features of the organization. Students will research public records, newspapers, websites to identify the organization’s strategy, structure, culture, HR practices, work climate, competitive market or partnership; then apply an organizational learning model to analyze their practices relative to the model; and finally make recommendations to strengthen their learning-system in order to enhance their innovative capacity going forward and/or ideas that could be useful for other organizations seeking to strengthen their learning-system and/or innovative capacity.
