This paper requires a bibliography with a minimum of two peer-reviewed sources to back your argument. These sources must be scholarly (peer-reviewed), humanities-focused, secondary sources. This includes books, monographs, chapters from edited anthologies, and articles from peer-reviewed humanities journals (such as the kind you would find on JSTOR). In other words, you should avoid sources like wikipedia, newspaper or magazine articles, or non-peer reviewed internet pages and blogs.
You’re more than welcome to cite whatever helps you make your argument, including the examination of primary sources (i.e., artist’s statements, historical documents, etc.), but to meet the minimum threshold for the bibliography requirement, you must have a minimum of two scholarly (peer-reviewed), humanities-focused, secondary sources.
