What programs or resources are out there for youth who are impacted by the juvenile justice system or criminal justice system?

One thing to keep in mind is that youth who are impacted by the justice system aren’t necessarily arrested, convicted, or sentenced to any kind of punishment. Youth who are impacted by the justice system can also refer to individuals who were victimized, have parents/caregivers/family/friends who are justice-involved, or school-related sanctions, to name a few. We can even look at individuals who work in the criminal justice realm as being justice-involved. Youth, just as adults, have intersectional identities that also play a role in how they navigate through the justice system. Be sure to consider the various identities and life circumstances the youth might experience.
